Following the decision by the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) to refer the Trusts' merger plans to a second assessment phase, the Boards of both Trusts have now formally agreed to continue with the transaction towards a proposed merger.

23 Jan 15: More mental health support for Surrey police stations. From April 2015, the Surrey and Borders Partnership (SABP) Criminal Justice Liaison and Diversion Service (CJLDS) will benefit from a second trial scheme launched by NHS England which will allow the placement of more mental health professionals in custody suites in police stations and courts across Surrey.
