13 Jan 2020: Applications are now open for Surrey Heartlands GPs to apply for GP Clinical Representative roles on the NHS Surrey Heartlands CCG Governing Body.

We anticipate that the CCG will be formally established from 1st April 2020, through a merger of East Surrey, Guildford and Waverley, North West Surrey and Surrey Downs CCGs. In anticipation of this change, for which we have received conditional approval from NHS England/Improvement, we are now seeking nine GP Clinical Representatives to sit on the Surrey Heartlands CCG Governing Body - two GPs for each geographical (ICP ) area and one to represent Surrey wide services, such as mental health, children and people with learning disabilities.

The successful candidates will be expected to discharge the corporate responsibilities of a Governing Body member, set out in the Surrey Heartlands CCG Constitution, which includes having a vote on the Governing Body.  The successful applicant will also act as a conduit to the Governing Body for each nominated Member Practice Representative of the CCG and each ICP geographical area or Surrey wide governance arrangement.

Applications close midnight 30 January 2020.
